Hi all. I have a trans I am pulling to rebuild and it seams stuck in the diff. It will move approx 1/4" out and no further. Am I going to break something or is there a lock ring somewhere? All the bolts are out and nothing is in the way. Please help!!

Hi,
Have you taken the Halfshafts out of the wheel hubs,
as these go into the diffential assembly?

tim ,you can rebuild from the other end . the clutch packs are serviced from the bellhousing end . remove bellhousing ,then next part of assy and hey presto your in
