Corporate Rental / Used Assets Manager

Description: Manage all used asset purchases, rental contracts and sales pricing and wholesaling of equipment for Dillon Toyota Lift.  Navigate manufacturer’s ordering, tracking and processing systems as a key contact.  Maintain current status of all rentals and used assets on company premises, whether company or customer owned.  Align work with strategic goals, and exhibit superior customer service.  

Essential Functions:
1. Oversee and manage all rental assets in Idaho and Utah.
2. Profitably manage a safe and operable rental fleet to accomplish revenue objectives.  
3. Oversee and manage all used asset purchasing, refurbishing and selling.
4. Manage all rental customers, resolving cost issues and customer concerns.
5. Track and process all rental billings for the company.
6. Manage rental return process and customer damage billing.
7. Direct all rental maintenance and used asset retirement.
8. Establish budgets for rentals/used asset management.
9. Review and manage all P & L activities related to the rental/used assets department.
10. Participate in the selling process for short-term rentals.
11. Manage to proper utilization rates.
12. Oversee all used equipment department acquisitions, refurbishments and sales.
13. Actively participate and effectively communicate with corporate leadership team.
14. Support the sales, service and all internal departments with DTL.


Requirements / Skills: 1. High school diploma or GED.  Preferred college degree.
2. Prefer 5 year of experience with used asset purchasing and/or sales of service vehicles.
3. Or, any combination of education and experience that is necessary to perform the essential job functions.

Knowledge:
1. Market – Good knowledge of rental equipment, service parts, and industrial equipment industry.
2. Sales – Exhibit knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of a telecommunications system. Demonstrate knowledge of scheduling techniques for service appointments and rental equipment.
3. Acquisition - Diagnose company needs and base purchasing upon such needs.
4. Effectively use a computer to enter, track and report.
5. Planning and organizing – Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and demonstrate a willingness to meet performance expectations.

Skills:
1. Business – Exhibit high attention to detail, punctuality, time management, filing, and organization. Communicate effectively with customers over the phone.  Ability to maintain record keeping at high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
2. Interpersonal – Display excellent customer service, oral, and written communication. Demonstrate systems thinking, conflict management, and active listening.
3. Mathematical - Accurately calculate invoices, costs, discounts, and other amounts.
